Sometimes you just want to get afloat and go, no matter what the tide is doing.
So it was that this little Orkney spinner boat was launched today. They got the trailer down as far as they dared, before sliding the boat off and onto the low tide mud. Then did a bit of dragging... and away.
No wellies were topped with water, and no one fell over. Well done them!
