Port Navas holiday christmas madness on the Helford. Navas Nook self catering cottage.

As we know, Port Navas is a hub of excitement, madness and frenzied activity. But this is especially true at Christmas time!

I popped down there today to do some bits and bobs out in the back garden, at Navas Nook, and I could hardly get across the road for the usual insanity of cars, buses, trams, swans and 'lovely old dears' wielding hankies, sticks and shortbread biscuits.

But there was a whiff of mulled wine in the air. The ducks gave nothing away, but I swear I heard a quackup (a duck hiccup), out in the creek!

As usual, the cafe culture was alive and well.. I had a macafrappachino from the Fallenstaurbucks, just next to the Yacht Club, and a Muffin McPasty to go.

Nice.

Luckily, I returned home safe to the relative sanity of Constantine, and had a nice lie down. Phew.
