The kids are back at school, and Port Navas is already missing the crabbing nets and the laughter.
I popped down to the yacht club and took this picture, facing down river. All is calm, and a little bit crisp.
These are the 'pick your days' days, when if you're prepared to put a jumper on then the river is all yours.
Everyone seems to have a few extra minutes, in September.
