2020 was strange year, however we did manage to get out on the Helford quite a bit.
One of our favourite things to do is to go for a BBQ at Tremayne quay and a swim.
You can sail to the quay by boat / kayak or drive around the top of the Helford, through Gweek then through Mawgan, eventually parking to walk the last 1/2 mile or so.
On a balmy sat night, if the tide is right, there may be quite a few boats and dinghies moored there which makes for a brilliant atmosphere. Kids jumping, crabbing and generally having a lovely time, whilst the adults chill.
